With a couple of days around the 40 to 42 degrees and most other days in the 30s, Victorian shooters, despite these conditions, did well. Quite a few received the High Gun and others won events.

  • Open Olympic Trap with Brett Dunstan, Adam Vella and Daniel di Pietro.
  • Women's Olympic Trap with Stacy Roiall, Stephanie Tigani and Michelle Beecham.
  • Open Double Trap with Russell Mark, Blair Signorotto and Craig Trembath.

Olympic Trap

  • ACTA Olympic Trap (Open) won by Adam Vella with a score of 123/125
  • ACTA Olympic Trap (Juniors) won by Anthony Rullo with a score of 111/125
  • Commonwealth Olympic Trap (Open) won by Adam Vella with a score of 118/125
  • National Olympic Trap (Open) won by Adam Vella with a score of 119/125
  • National Olympic Trap (Women) won by Stacy Roiall with a score of 67/75

ISSF Skeet

  • ACTA ISSF Skeet (Open) won by Paul Rahman with a score of 120/125
  • ACTA ISSF Skeet (Women) won by Natalia Rahman with a score of 71/75
  • Commonwealth ISSF Skeet (Women) won by Shan Barnes with a score of 73/75
  • National ISSF Skeet (Open) won by Anthony Sottosanti with a score of 119/125
    and a perfect score in the finals.
  • National ISSF Skeet (Junior) won by Anthony Sottosanti with a score of 119/125
  • National ISSF Skeet (Women) won by Lauryn Mark with a score of 68/75

We also acknowledge our champions and those trying for selection in the Australian team to represent Australia at Beijing.

  • Adam Vella who won the Open High Gun in the National Olympic Trap with a score of 360/375.
  • Natalia Rahman won the Ladies High Gun in the National ISSF Skeet with a score of 211/225.
  • Anthony Sottosanti won the Junior High Gun in the National ISSF Skeet with a score of 343/375.
  • Craig Trembath won the Open High Gun in the National ISSF Double Trap with a score of 412/450.
  • Nicholas Kirley won the Junior High Gun in the National ISSF Double Trap with a score of 397/450.
